Candidaturas já abriram para INSTITUT INTERNATIONAL DE LA MARIONNETTE

CALL FOR RESEARCH RESIDENCIES APPLICANTS

Through two programs of residencies (with or without grant) proposed by its Research pole, the Institut International de la Marionnette (International Institute of Puppetry) wants to encourage the scientific research about puppetry, to accompany the process of creation of the artists, and to strengthen the links between Research and Creation communities.

The Research residencies of the Institut International de la Marionnette (IIM) are open to scholars, creators and postgraduate students, whatever their nationality.

Residents have access to the Library, they can take advantage of a personalized accompaniment, and of possible stakes in touch with the partners of the IIM. They are accommodated in the Villa d’Aubilly for free.
The residents must sign a research contract. They make a commitment to deposit in the Library a copy of their final work.

Residencies without grant
These residencies can have a duration from 2 days to 2 months, with the exception of the periods of closure of the IIM.
Application may be submitted at any time (minimum one week before).
They are given after examination of the demand, according to available place.

Residencies with a research grant
These residences with grant have a duration from 2 weeks to 2 months, with the exception of the periods of closure of the IIM. They are granted first and foremost to the PhD students, post-doctorate, and authors in phase of writing.
These grants can cover food expenses and a part of the traveling costs.
Deadline of application: December 15th, 2012 (for 2013).
The decisions are made 1 month more or less after the deadline.
Criteria of selection:
- Quality of the application file,
- Presence, in the Library, of resources in connection with the research project.

Application file
Whatever the program, the application file shall include:
